Back in 1993, Delta's Dean Lutton (shown above is his car which can be found in the soap box derby museum) won the local race and went on to win it all at the All-American Soap Box Derby.
Numerous other racers from the North Central Ohio Soap Box Derby have gone and placed at the All-American as well.
